Contextualized Meetings
Government meetings are long and cover a variety of topics. Quickly understanding what a meeting was about was a considerable challenge for Cloverleaf AI customers to overcome.
Using Natural Language Processing (NLP), Data317 automatically generates a meeting summary, tags notable segments, and pulls out the key terms. Cloverleaf AI customers can now quickly pinpoint the exact moments they care about without reviewing hours-long meetings.
Similar Keywords
Common language and industry jargon are usually very different. An asphalt paver may say “pavement degradation,” but the public would simply say, “the roads are terrible.” Cloverleaf AI sought to close the gap between them and offer a more robust search that covered all potential keywords.
Using a custom natural language transformer, Data317 enriches user-provided search queries by finding related terms, contexts, and intents. Instead of a simple term search looking for “pavement degradation”, a user was searching the idea of road repairs.
Spam Detector
Governments often release promotional, sporting, and other non-legislative video content within the same data feed, causing transcription, storage, and analysis costs to balloon.
Data317 built a customized spam filter that automatically categorizes videos and sends only legislative meetings to their transcription service. Over a two-month period, 13% of videos were filtered out as spam.
